1. Grant of License

Upon purchase of Qmarksoft PathoLab ERP, Qmarksoft grants the purchasing laboratory a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and operate the software. The Desktop Single-User Edition is licensed for a single workstation, while the Multi-User LAN Edition is licensed for multiple local workstations on the same local area network within the designated laboratory premises.

2. Data Ownership & Privacy

All patient health information, test records, accounts, and clinical files remain the sole and exclusive property of the purchasing laboratory. Qmarksoft does not sell, lease, or monetize your patient clinical data under any circumstances. In Cloud Editions, data is encrypted via 256-bit SSL protocols during transmission and at rest.

3. Technical Support & Remote Setup

Every license includes complimentary initial remote installation, lab letterhead and logo configuration, test formula review, and live operator onboarding via AnyDesk or TeamViewer. Ongoing technical support is provided Monday through Saturday during regular business hours (9:30 AM to 7:30 PM IST).

4. Backup & Maintenance Responsibilities

For Desktop Editions, the laboratory is advised to utilize the built-in 1-click database backup feature regularly and store backup files on an external drive or cloud storage. For Cloud Editions, automated daily snapshots and backups are maintained by Qmarksoft's secure cloud infrastructure.

5. Limitation of Liability

PathoLab ERP is a clinical workflow and reporting management tool. Diagnostic test interpretation and clinical validation remain the professional responsibility of the qualified medical laboratory technician and consulting pathologist.
